The summer tends to be the busiest time for me. I rarely have time to myself and am busy working, visiting family, hanging out with friends and trying to enjoy the weather! Being fair skinned, I often get sun burnt (as I am in these pictures). Today I wanted to share my go-to makeup look for a flawless, “no-makeup, makeup” look only takes me 10 minutes!
First, I start off with priming my skin with the Benefit Porefessional primer which minimizes the appearance of pores. I only prime my skin with this product in the areas which I have more visible pores; on my chin, nose and center of my forehead, also known as the “T” zone.
Next, I use the Too Faced Hangover primer which replenishes dry skin. I apply this in the areas I did not apply the Porefessional primer, because aside from my “T” zone, I tend to have dry skin, especially in the summer.
Then, I use the Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation. I love this foundation because it is medium coverage, so when I use it, it covers up blemishes and hides the redness of my face (especially if I am a little sunburnt!) but I can still see my freckles through it. Right now, I prefer to use my fingers to apply my foundation, so I don’t lose any of the product in the application process.
Then, I dampen my Beauty Blender with the Evian facial spray and bounce the Beauty Blender all over my face to get rid of the streaky marks left over from applying my foundation with my fingers, ensuring a smooth finish.
Next, I brush the Benefit Gimme Brow gel onto my eyebrows to darken my eyebrows so they look more symmetrical and give them a little more structure.
Onto the eyes! I curl my lashes with a Sephora eyelash curler.
Then, I use the shade Sweetheart from my all-time favorite eyeshadow palette, Tartelette in Bloom by Tarte, in my crease. This shade is a beautiful shade to just define your crease or use as a transition color before applying other colors to your eye. To apply this shade, I use the Sephora Pro Featherweight crease brush #38.
Next, I use a combination of the L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes and L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Sculpt. I apply two coats of the Voluminous Million Lashes and then apply the Voluminous Butterfly Scuplt to the outer corner of my lashes for an extra flair.
Last but not least, lips! I prime my lips with the MAC Prep + Prime. Then, I use my current favorite lip combo from MAC. Subculture lip pencil and Honey Love matte lipstick.
And that’s it! These are some of my favorite products and ones I use frequently, whether it’s in a rush or on a night out. I would highly recommend trying any and all of these products for yourself!
