September Favorites

Welcome back to another monthly favorites post! This month was a lot less makeup and more hair & skincare. I hope you guys enjoy it!

First up is the KKW crystal gardenia fragrance. I have never had a fragrance that I stuck to, because I loved it so much. I just never wanted to take the time or money to really invest in 1 fragrance. I would always go to Bath & Body works and stock up on some body mists, because I just wanted to smell good and didn’t care much after that. When Kim launched her fragrances, this range really interested me. I love the packaging, and what she said about the scent of this fragrance. It is such a gamble to order a fragrance online without smelling it first, so it was very risky but one day I just bit the bullet and ordered it. I am SO happy I did! This fragrance is floral with a musky undertone, which I love! I don’t like super sweet (“feminine”) fragrances. I like the ones that are more gender neutral, because they aren’t too sweet smelling, but also not too musky.

Next is the Ouai scalp & body scrub! This is a new holy grail product for me! I love that this product is multi-use. I use this scrub on my scalp and on my body. It is a great exfoliate for the body, which I do once a week and I use it on my scalp about twice a week, because I tend to get dry, flaky skin on my scalp. Using this product has helped my dry, flaky scalp so much, because now I don’t have to use dandruff shampoo anymore as long as I consistently use the scrub!

Up next is the R+Co salt hair spray. I love this spray! First off, it smells SO good and it instantly adds texture to my hair! It is so easy to quickly spray on damp hair and then hit the road!

Next is the Summer Fridays jet lag mask. This product practically broke the internet when it was launched. And yes, it is worth the hype. This is also another holy grail product for me. It is a sensitive, effective, multi-use mask. I use it as an eye cream, day or night face mask, and as a primer before applying makeup. I just apply a thin layer for primer and use more when I use it as a mask! It has noticeably improved the softness, and hydration of my skin in only ONE use. I seriously couldn’t believe it. It is everything I could have ever wanted from a skincare product.

Last but not least is this Lulus distressed dress! You will have seen we wear this a lot this month and I am sad to put it away now that the temperature is dropping. I love this dress because it is so easy to throw on! It’s a plain grey dress, but with the distressed fabric, it adds a little twist! I love pairing this edgy dress with something more feminine, like pearl earrings, or sandals, because I love to contrast different styles together!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and try out some of these products yourself! If you prefer to see me use these products you can check out my YouTube video down below!
